Job Description for Service Desk Role -Chat Support - Technical
Candidate should have experience or clear understanding in Hardware
Troubleshooting of MAC PCs, MS Office /office 365 applications.
Familiarity with Lates Mac OS platforms
Knowledge on Microsoft Outlook, Basic Active Directory functioning, Windows OS, PC hardware components and its functionalities.
Networking basic Concepts and Troubleshooting
Providing technical support via chat to customers who are experiencing issues with their Mac PCs.
Candidate should possess excellent typing skills and be able to handle multiple chats simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service along with Quality.
It would be advantage if candidate possess basic ITIL framework knowledge.
Good communication and Typing speed is required.
Key accountabilities :
Provide technical support via chat to customers who are experiencing issues with their Macintosh PCs
Provide technical support to customers via chat, Phone and email for hardware and software issues
Respond to chat and phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Macintosh PCs and associated software
Document chat interactions and resolutions in a detailed and accurate manner
Escalate complex issues to higher level technical support as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
Stay up to date with the latest Macintosh PC and software updates and provide recommendations to customers as needed
Handle multiple chat sessions concurrently while maintaining a high level of customer service and support.
Experience Required
1-2 years of experience in a chat and voice support or customer service role, preferably in a technical support environment
Strong technical skills and experience troubleshooting Macintosh PCs and associated software
Excellent typing skills and the ability to handle multiple chat sessions concurrently
Strong Verbal & Non-Verbal communication skills and the ability to provide professional and effective technical support via chat/Phone/Emails.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends Knowledge & Skills.
